Two Arrested After Violent Antioch Carjacking, Crosstown Car Chase
Two juveniles were arrested after allegedly pistol-whipping a driver and taking his stolen car on a high-speed spree.

NASHVILLE, TN — A pair of juveniles were arrested near downtown in the wee hours of Friday morning after allegedly violently carjacking a man and taking his car on a high-speed chase that crisscrossed the city.
The owner of the car called 911 after he was able to escape from his own trunk, wherein he'd been stuffed by the suspects, who also allegedly pistol-whipped and robbed him outside the Hickory Club Apartments in Antioch.
Soon thereafter, police spotted the car at a drive-thru of a restaurant on Murfreesboro Pike and attempted to stop it, leading to the chase. The car sped onto Interstate 40 west, then ducked onto Interstate 440 before re-entering I-40 West. Police said the driver tried to exit at Hermitage Avenue, but skidded into the median.
