Alleged Business-Casual Bandit Arrested For Bell Road Bank Robbery

A man wearing a black ball cap, a dress shirt, but no mask robbed the Bell Road Fifth Third Thursday.

ANTIOCH, TN — A man looking like he was ready for Casual Friday a day early robbed the Bell Road branch of Fifth Third Bank Thursday, according to Metro Police. The FBI arrested a suspect in Murfreesboro Thursday.

Shortly after 10 a.m. Thursday, the robber, a white man in his 50s, handed a teller an envelope on which he had written his money demand. The teller complied and the robber fled the bank with cash. No weapon was seen.

The suspect wore a black ball cap, white dress shirt, dark pants and gloves. Metro Police announced on Twitter Frida morning the FBI arrested a suspect in the robbery.
