Woman Killed Crossing Nolensville Road
A woman was hit while crossing Nolensville Road near Harding Place late Friday.
ANTIOCH, TN — A woman was killed crossing Nolensville Road near Harding Place Friday night.
The woman was walking across the street — though not in a crosswalk, police said — when she was hit by a Nissan Sentra around 10 p.m. (For more updates on this story and free news alerts for your neighborhood, sign up for your local Middle Tennessee Patch morning newsletter.)
The driver told police he did not see the woman until it was too late. Investigators do not believe speed, drugs or alcohol were a factor. An MTA bus was at a nearby stop and the driver witnessed the accident and is assisting with the investigation.
