Woman Rolls Man With Craigslist Ad: Nashville Police

A man attempting to buy a car he found on Craigslist was robbed last month, according to Nashville police.

NASHVILLE, TN — Metro Police arrested a woman Friday after she allegedly set up a man to be robbed using a Craigslist ad.

According to an affidavit, Tabbitha Sharp, 29, told the victim, who had responded to a car sale ad on the Web site, agreeing to pay $3500 for a 2016 Ford Fusion, to meet her at a restaurant on Murfreesboro Pike. Once at the restaurant, Sharp told the man to ride with her to her mother's East Nashville home, where the man was allegedly held up at gunpoint by two other people.

The suspects then stole the $3500 and the victim's cell phone, according to police.

Sharp is charged with aggravated robbery and is held on an $85,000 bond. Information on the two other suspects was not released.
