Woman Walks Away After Train Hits SUV In Berry Hill

BERRY HILL, TN — A woman was able to walk away from a crash after a train hit her SUV in Berry Hill late Wednesday.

Shortly before midnight, the train hit the SUV, which was on the tracks near Craighead Street and Oceanside Drive. The woman, who was the only person in the vehicle, was able to walk to an ambulance. The signals and crossing barriers appeared to be functional. It is unclear how or why the SUV was on the tracks.
