The cut applies to standard grocery items and is expected to save the average Nashville-area family about $72 a year. 
• Five From Tennessee Headed To Baltimore For U.S. Senior Amateur (chattanoogan.com) — Belle Meade gets a notable shoutout as the site of the very first U.S. Senior Amateur in 1955 and a future host again in 2036, underscoring its prestige in senior golf. Meanwhile, five Tennessee golfers are heading to Baltimore this weekend to compete in the 71st U.S. Senior Amateur Championship after qualifying through recent state events.
