2 Arrested, 2 Escape After Brentwood Burglary, Wreck
An early morning wreck ended a chase of four burglary suspects in Brentwood.
BRENTWOOD, TN — Two burglary suspects were injured and another two escaped following a chase-concluding crash in Brentwood early Friday.
Metro Police responded to complaints of people shining flashlights into cars on Stone Brook Drive off Old Hickory Boulevard just after midnight. Officers spotted the suspects' car and tried to pull it over, but the driver sped away, eventually crashing through a sign and a rock wall before hitting a tree.
The driver and one of his passengers were injured and taken to a hospital. Police say they will be charged upon their release. Two other passengers were able to escape on foot.
