Brentwood Radiologist, Wife Plead Guilty To Tax Fraud
A decade-long deception has a Brentwood radiologist and his wife facing five years in prison.

NASHVILLE, TN β A Brentwood radiologist and his wife pleaded guilty to a 10-year tax fraud in federal court Friday.
Jeffrey Cephus McCoy Jr., 70, and Andra McCoy, 68, filed false tax returns from 2003 to 2007 which included fictitious withholding amounts and false bond forms. In addition the couple failed to report taxable income, according to U.S. Attorney David Rivera. They submitted numerous other false documents to the Internal Revenue Service and placed some of their assets under fake names.
A sentencing hearing has yet to be scheduled, but the two face a maximum sentence of five years in prison, a fine of $250,000 and three years of supervised release.
