Driver Arrested After Car Barrels Through Brentwood Home
A car crashed into and then out of a garage in Brentwood; the driver was arrested for DUI.
BRENTWOOD, TN — The driver of a car that crashed through a garage and a side wall of a Brentwood home early Thursday was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
Around 3 a.m. Thursday, a car left the roadway at the corner of Waller Road and Ella Lane in Brentwood, first busting through a garage door, then through a side wall of the home before hitting a power pole and eventually coming to a stop on neighboring property.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol said the as-yet-unidentified driver then tried to flee on foot, but he was eventually apprehended and placed under arrest.

Power was out to about 300 homes in the area in the wake of the crash.
