Gun Stolen During Brentwood Smash and Grab Found During Antioch Traffic Stop

ANTIOCH, TN — More than two months after a smash and grab robbery at a Brentwood gun store, Metro Police arrested two men after finding a stolen pistol during an Antioch traffic stop. Officers say they also found prescription drugs and marijuana in the car.

Police pulled over a car on Bell Road for failing to dim its high beams. The driver, Lawrence Harris, admitted to police he had been smoking marijuana. During a subsequent search, police found marijuana, Xanax bars and a Glock 19. That handgun was reported stolen during an October theft from Everything Weapons in Brentwood.

Brentwood Police have been investigating that robbery for months. Surveillance footage captured three men breaking into the store after crashing a minivan through its front window.

Harris and his passenger, Edward Bradley, are facing felony gun possession and drug charges.
