Michigan Man Convicted In Williamson County For Human Trafficking
A Williamson County jury convicted a Flint, Mich. man in a 2016 sex trafficking case.
FRANKLIN, TN — A Williamson County jury convicted a Flint, Mich. man for human trafficking last week.
Eric Demarco Hamilton, 26, of Flint, Mich., was convicted on a felony count of trafficking for a commercial sex act and misdemeanor domestic assault. The trafficking conviction carries a sentence of eight to 30 years.
Brentwood Police and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation began investigating Hamilton after the BPD responded to a domestic assault call at the Extended Stay America hotel April 10, 2016. Investigators learned Hamilton had taken his victim from a North Little Rock, Ark. hotel April 1, 2016 and had been moving her across Arkansas, Texas, Florida and Tennessee to perform sex acts under his direction.
