Police have suspect in custody in Rossi Road shooting

Police have a suspect in custody after a 48-year-old man was shot three times in his Brentwood home Sunday night.

A married couple returned home from a trip to New York City and the husband was shot by Jeffrey Potts, apparently the wife's boyfriend. Potts was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

According to WKRN, police say the couple, who live in separate houses, stopped by the home, which belongs to the woman, to pick up some items after the trip.
