Watch As Brentwood Fire Burns House On Purpose

BRENTWOOD, TN — Brentwood Fire & Rescue intentionally burned down a home Saturday morning as part of a training exercise.

Five other area fire departments joined Brentwood to conduct training at the house, which was set to be demolished by its owners. Instead, they decided to donate it for what Brentwood Fire Chief Brian Goss said was invaluable training.

“The experience that we have with these homes to be able to go in and set various fires in various rooms, do search and rescue drills, wall breaches, forcible entry, that’s the kind of thing you can’t simulate on the drill ground,” he said, according to WKRN.
