Nolensville, TN – October 15, 2021 – The Town of Nolensville and consultant, Town Planning and Urban Design Collaborative, invite the public to attend the Nolensville Zoning Ordinance Update PlanapaloozaTM events November 3rd – 8th (with no events being held on Sunday 11/7 and resuming on Monday 11/8) PlanapaloozaTM will be an opportunity for you to work directly with friends, family, neighbors, Town staff and officials, and a team of talented planners to build a
stronger future for the Town of Nolensville.

On the first evening of PlanapaloozaTM (November 3rd) the team will hold the Opening Presentation and Interactive Mapping Workshop at 6:00pm. You will be able to attend the Opening Presentation and participate in the Mapping Workshop in person at the Nolensville Town Hall – 7218 Nolensville Road, Nolensville, TN 37135 or online. The interactive mapping tool will be available on the website zonenolensville.com Planapalooza page starting the evening of November 3rd.

Thursday (November 4th) and Friday (November 5th) of PlanapaloozaTM will feature topical Focus Meetings where residents can share their hopes and concerns related to Streets & Connectivity, Sustainability, and Character, Housing & Development and learn how the code can address these. A full schedule of these meetings is on the website. The meetings will be held both in person at the Nolensville Town Hall – 7218 Nolensville Road, Nolensville, TN 37135 and streamed online.

We understand that everyone has different schedules. For the entirety of the PlanapaloozaTM, the Team and participating City Staff will be working in a temporary design studio located at the Nolensville Town Hall – 7218 Nolensville Road, Nolensville, TN 37135. Any citizen, business owner or official who wishes to join in and provide comments, suggestions, or simply watch us work, will be able to stop by at their own convenience between 9am-7:00pm on November 4, 5, 6 & 8 (with
no events being held on Sunday 11/7) and 9am-12pm on November 8th.

Our Team members will be available to engage with the community, ask questions and accept feedback and ideas.
On the final evening of PlanapaloozaTM, the Team will present their findings so far, and begin to discuss how community input has begun to shape the Zoning Ordinance Update. This meeting will be held at 6:00pm on Monday, November 8th at the Nolensville Town Hall – 7218 Nolensville Road, Nolensville, TN 37135.

An interactive website, zonenolensville.com, has been developed to provide more information and offer the community with an opportunity to provide feedback throughout the planning process. The website has several features including, forums and discussions. A detailed schedule for PlanapaloozaTM and links if you want to participate via a live stream are also
available on the website.
