The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department’s (WCPR) Athletics Division is currently accepting registration for several adult coed soccer leagues to be held at our indoor arenas in Brentwood and Franklin this fall.

Registration is currently available for a Wednesday night coed soccer league at the Robert A. Ring indoor arena, 1845 Downs Blvd., in Franklin. The league begins on August 4 and will run through September 29 with evening matches held between 6-10 p.m. Team fees are $400. Registration is also available for two fall adult coed soccer leagues including a Monday night Recreation league and a Wednesday night Competitive league at the Indoor Arena at Crockett Park, 1845 Volunteer Pkwy., in Brentwood. Leagues begin the week of August 16 and are scheduled to continue through mid-October with evening play taking place from 5:30 -9:30 p.m. Team fees are $400; with a Free Agent fee of $50 for individuals looking to join a team. TENNIS PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH AND ADULTS
The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department (WCPR) offers a variety of tennis programs for youth and adults at court locations across Williamson County.
Registration for a fall session of tennis clinics, held August 16-October 16, begins at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 20. An assortment of instructional programs will be offered for youth and adults in a variety of skill levels from beginner to advanced players. All clinics are taught by USPTA professionals.
Our second tennis tournament of the season, The Little Harpeth Junior Slam, will be held July 30-August 1. This youth tournament for ages 10-18 offers singles events only. The tournament is played on various courts in Brentwood and Franklin. USTA membership is required, and registration is available at www.usta.com, keyword Little Harpeth, until July 25, 2021.
And finally, a series of Quick Start Tennis Camps for beginners ages 6 to 9 wraps up in August with the final session being held August 2-5 at the Indoor Sports Complex, 920 Heritage Way, in Brentwood. This camp is a great way to introduce kids to the lifetime game of tennis with skilled instruction provided by USPTA professionals.

OUTDOOR POOLS AND SPLASH PARKS
There’s still a lot of summer fun to be had! The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department’s (WCPR) outdoor pools and splash parks are open seven days a weeks through the first week of August.
Hours of operation for outdoor pools and splash parks through August 6 include: Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. August 7 – September 30, outdoor pools and splash parks will be open weekends only: Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Labor Day holiday hours on Monday, September 6 will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All outdoor pool and splash park hours are weather permitting.
Participating facilities include: the Fairview Recreation Complex, 2714 Fairview Blvd.; the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Rd.; the Indoor Sports Complex in Brentwood, 920 Heritage Way; the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill, 2909 Commonwealth Dr.; and the Williamson County Recreation Complex at Nolensville, 7250 Nolensville Rd.
Dive in and enjoy one of the summer season’s favorite past times by purchasing a Summer Splash Pass. Starting at only $40, Summer Splash Passes provide 20 individual visits to any WCPR outdoor pool and/or splash park; plus offer standard facility amenity use at any Williamson County Parks and Recreation facility through September 30, 2021.
