About Young Leaders Council:
Each Spring and Fall, Young Leaders Council (YLC) trains a group of young leaders in the community who are interested in nonprofit board service. This consists of an 11-week training program, which addresses fundamental board skills. Each session is facilitated by an industry expert and reflects on success indicators such as collaboration, diversity, and the role of catalyst deemed crucial for today’s nonprofit board leadership. Following the training, each participant is then paired with a local nonprofit organization to complete a one-year internship.”
