September 13:

The City of Brentwood is currently under a Flash Flood Watch until 7pm Sunday, September 13, 2020. Throughout the morning and overnight, several inches of rain has fallen and caused flooding in area. Some of the impacted areas include Waller Road and Concord Rd. at Nolensville Rd. near Mill Creek on the Davidson County side.

Showers and thunderstorms from the morning will move to the south and east during the early afternoon according to the National Weather Service report for Brentwood. An additional one to two inches will be possible on top of the two to five inches of radar estimated rainfall already received. This heavy raeinfall could cause flooding in low lying areas.

Crews with the Public Works Department are surveying any damage or flooding. The Brentwood Fire and Rescue Department's swift water team assisted the Nolensville Fire Department with some water rescues during the morning.

The Williamson County Emergency Management Agency is currently monitoring storm impacts throughout the Williamson County area.

Their list of impacted roads will be updated periodically throughout the day of the incident. If a road or facility has been reopened, it will be taken off the list. Access the information here: http://www.williamsonready.org...
