Williamson County Schools Sets Open-Zoning Plan, Out-Of-District Tuition Rates For 2017-18

Families of out-of-county students enrolled in Williamson County Schools will pay $6,418 in 2017-18.

FRANKLIN, TN β€” The Williamson County Board of Education approved out-of-county tuition rates and the open-zoning plan for the 2017-18 school year at its Monday night meeting.

Children of WCS employees living out of county will pay $3,850 next year, while other out-of-county students will have tuition of $6,418.

The board also gave the OK to next year's open-zoning plan for a variety of schools throughout the district.   • Bethesda Elementary up to 25 total students from Allendale and College Grove elementary schools
  • Chapman’s Retreat Elementary up to 25 students from Allendale Elementary
  • Clovercroft Elementary up to 25 students from Kenrose Elementary
  • Crockett Elementary up to 25 students from Kenrose Elementary
  • Fairview Elementary up to 25 total students from any WCS school
  • Grassland Elementary up to 25 students from Scales Elementary
  • Heritage Elementary up to 25 students from Longview Elementary
  • Hillsboro Elementary up to 25 total students from any WCS school
  • Hunters Bend Elementary up to 25 total students from any WCS school
  • Nolensville Elementary up to 25 students from Mill Creek Elementary
  • Walnut Grove Elementary up to 25 total students from any WCS school
