Williamson County Unemployment Falls in February, Still State's Lowest
The unemployment rate fell in all 95 counties in Tennessee in February, with Williamson's down to 3.5 percent.

NASHVILLE, TN — The unemployment rate in Williamson County was 3.5 percent in February, down 0.4 percent from the January figure, according to the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development. The unemployment rate fell in all of Tennessee's 95 counties after two months of 95-county increases.
Once again, Williamson County has the state's lowest unemployment rate, slightly better than Davidson County's 3.6 percent. Of the 10 lowest county numbers, nine were in Middle Tennessee.
In the last year, the Williamson County jobless number has increased 0.4 percent.

The estimated city-level figure for Brentwood is 3.6 percent. In neighboring Franklin, it is 3.3 percent, the lowest among the state's cities of at least 25,000 people.
The state rate, reported last week, is 5.3 percent, down 0.1 percent from January.
