Dickson County EMA looking for storm shelter partners (wsmv.com) ā Dickson County EMA is asking local churches, businesses, and community centers to register as potential storm shelters to better protect residents during severe weather. Facilities with safe, window-free lower levels and basic essentials are especially needed, and organizers are using a short survey to map out suitable locations across Dickson County for coordination with state and federal partners.

DCHS' Erin Webb announces retirement from coaching (mainstreetmediatn.com) ā Longtime Dickson County High School Lady Cougars basketball coach Erin Webb is stepping away from coaching after eight seasons to focus on her faith and family. She plans to spend more time supporting her children, including daughter Keelyās college basketball career, while teaching one more year at DCHS and cherishing connections with former players.

Betty Tomlinson Williams (dicksoncountysource.com) ā Dickson is mourning the loss of 69-year-old Betty Tomlinson Williams, a lifelong resident who led the Dickson County Senior Center for 35 years. Friends and family can pay respects at Spann Funeral Home with visitation beginning Wednesday and services Thursday, as the community remembers her generosity, cooking, and deep commitment to local seniors and children.
