• UT Martin receives Special Education designation (utm.edu) — A Dyer student is part of UT Martin’s SAIL program, which just helped the university earn a national Special Olympics Unified Champion School designation. The recognition highlights inclusive sports, leadership, and campus-wide engagement for students with and without intellectual disabilities, strengthening opportunities and visibility for local participants from Dyer and nearby communities.
   

• SBA offers disaster loans for Missouri and Tennessee after winter storm damage (wsiltv.com) — Residents and business owners in Dyer County are now eligible for low‑interest SBA disaster loans to repair winter storm damage from January 22–27.
