18-Year-Old Charged In Lincoln Tech Murder

An 18-year-old was arrested for the shooting death of a 30-year-old behind the former Nashville Auto Diesel College in Renraw.

NASHVILLE, TN — Metro Police arrested an 18-year-old man Thursday for the first-degree murder of a 30-year-old man in a parking lot at East Nashville's Lincoln College of Technology, formerly the Nashville Auto-Diesel College.

Keanthony Jones is suspected of shooting and killing Adam Anderson behind the school May 1. Jones was taken into custody by MNPD Gang Unit officers. He refused to speak to detectives after his arrest, according to a police press release. Jones was out on bond for an April 22 aggravated robbery during which he is accused of holding up an acquaintance at gunpoint. His bond on the murder charge was set at $750,000.
