5 Teens Arrested For Carjacking, Drive-By

Hendersonville Police arrested five teenagers in connection with a drive-by shooting in Old Hickory and a Madison carjacking.

HENDERSONVILLE, TN — Hendersonville Police arrested five teenagers Friday afternoon who are allegedly connected to a drive-by shooting in Old Hickory and a carjacking in Madison,

The teens — two 16-year-olds, plus a 13-, 14, and 17-year-old — were arrested after crashing a BMW on Walton Ferry Road. (For more updates on this story and free news alerts for your neighborhood, sign up for your local Middle Tennessee Patch morning newsletter.)

A woman told police she was on Old Hickory Boulevard at Robinson Road around 11 p.m. Thursday when a white Toyota Camry with several people inside pulled up next to her and began shooting. She was hit in the side and was able to pull into a nearby pharmacy and call for help. The Camry was recovered at a Hermitage apartment complex Thursday. About 15 minutes after the shooting, there was a carjacking on Saunders Avenue in Madison, around eight miles away.
