Argument Ends In Shooting At Hermitage Hotel
A man was shot outside a Hermitage hotel Tuesday night following what police believe was a fight over money.
HERMITAGE, TN — A loan gone awry ended with a shooting at a Hermitage hotel Tuesday night.
Detectives say the victim, who was not identified, invited the suspect into his hotel room at the Hermitage Inn around 9:30 Tuesday night to loan him money. The suspect then demanded more money and shot the victim when he refused.

The suspect fled before police arrived and the victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police did not release a suspect description.
