Body Found in East Nashville Apartment, Man Charged with Murder
An East Nashville man was arrested after police found a dead body inside his apartment.
EAST NASHVILLE, TN — An East Nashville man faces murder charges after police discovered a dead body inside his apartment.
Metro Police arrested Charles Clayton, 52, at a market on Gallatin Pike Monday after detectives "developed information implicating Clayton in the victim’s death," according to a press release. Earlier Monday, officers found the body inside Clayton's Porter Road apartment with "trauma to his body."
Clayton is not answering questions about the case, police say. The victim's identity has not been released.
