Body Discovered Near East Nashville Dumpster; Police Find Suicide Note
A man was found dead of an apparent gunshot wound near a dumpster in East Nashville.
EAST NASHVILLE, TN — Police said a suicide note was found near a body of a man dead from an apparent gunshot wound beside a dumpster in East Nashville Monday.
Police were called to the East End condos on Woodland Street shortly before 7 a.m. Monday where a man's body was found by a dumpster behind the complex. (For more updates on this story and free news alerts for your neighborhood, sign up for your local Middle Tennessee Patch morning newsletter.)
Initially, the condos were placed on lockdown as police investigated, but shortly thereafter a suicide note was found near the body.
