Carjacking Juveniles Escape After East Nashville Chase: Police
A man said two juveniles took his Hyundai at gunpoint on Woodland Street Sunday.

EAST NASHVILLE, TN — Two juvenile carjackers escaped police after a Sunday afternoon chase in East Nashville.
A man sitting in his car in a Woodland Street parking lot told officers two juveniles approached him, one pointed a gun in his face and demanded his car keys.

The pair then sped off in the man's gray 2012 Hyundai Tucson.
As officers were taking the man's statement, the car was spotted on Cahal Avenue and a pursuit began.

The carjackers made their way to the interstate and the chase was terminated for safety reasons. The victim was not injured.
