East Nashville RV Explosion 'Suspicious'
The RV near Shelby Park exploded around 2:30 Tuesday morning, witnesses told police and fire investigators.

EAST NASHVILLE, TN — A newly purchased RV exploded early Tuesday morning, witnesses told investigators, and burst into flames.
Another witness told Nashville Fire Department crews that they saw someone running away from the RV, which was parked near the Shelby Bottoms Greenway, with their sleeve on fire. The owner of the RV said she had just bought it, that it wasn't connected to a power source and that it was not yet insured.

“This is my neighborhood, so that means someone in my neighborhood is doing these kind of things,” the owner told Channel 5.

Samples from the fire were sent to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for analysis.
