EAST NASHVILLE, TN — A mostly sunny and slightly warmer week is ahead, according to the National Weather Service forecast for East Nashville. A much-needed chance of rain rolls in Friday night.

Monday: Areas of smoke and patchy frost to start the day, otherwise sunny, high of 66. Increasing cloudiness overnight, low of 43.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high of 67. Mostly clear after dark with a low of 44.

Wednesday: Sunny and nice, high near 69. Clear in the evening, a low of 44.

Thursday: Sunny and warmer, high of 74. Clear overnight, low of 51.

Friday: Mostly sunny with a high of 73. A 50 percent chance of showers and storms overnight, otherwise mostly cloudy, low of 47.
