East Nashville Weekend Weather: Rain Arrives, Cold Does Too

Long-awaited rain comes to East Nashville Friday and colder temperatures follow.

EAST NASHVILLE, TN — A good chance of rain clears out late Friday and brings much colder temperatures, according to the National Weather Service forecast for East Nashville. A freeze watch is in effect Saturday and Sunday, with frost forecast for both days.

Friday night: A slight chance of showers before 9 p.m., with increasing chances of showers and perhaps a storm later. South winds of 10 to 15 mph, veering northwest later with gusts up to 20 mph. Overall, an 80 percent chance of precipitation. Low of 41.

Saturday: Sunny and much cooler with a high of 51. Northwest winds of 10 to 15 mph, gusting up to 20 mph. Mostly clear overnight with a chance of frost after 2 a.m., low of 29.
