Metro Police are searching for a Madison man wanted for the beating and attempted strangulation of his girlfriend.
MADISON, TN — After the brutal beating and strangulation of his girlfriend, a 40-year-old Madison man is on the run from police.
Metro Police are searching for William Fitts, who is charged with attempted assault and aggravated strangulation of his girlfriend at a Madison apartment June 21. Fitts frequents Madison, police said. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Emergency Communications Center at 615-862-8600 or Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
