Man Beat Up, Stabbed For Talking To A Child At East Nashville Gas Station
Nashville police are searching for two men who assaulted two others at an East Nashville gas station Sunday night.

EAST NASHVILLE, TN — Two men assaulted a man outside a Gallatin Pike gas station Sunday, apparently because he talked to a child.
The victim was walking out of the Speedway on Gallatin Pike in East Nashville and noticed a child behind the door. The man told the child to mind the door and be careful to not get hit by it when it opened. Two men then came across the parking lot, yelling at the man to not talk to the child. The pair then allegedly began beating the man, who during the altercation was stabbed in the torso and back. Meanwhile, another man came up and was punched in the face by one of the suspects.

Witnesses told police the two men fled the scene in a red and black SUV. The stabbing victim is at Vanderbilt University Medical Center with serious injuries.
