Man Killed, Woman Injured In Madison Shooting

MADISON, TN — A man was shot dead and a woman was injured in what Metro Police believe may have been a drug-related murder in Madison Monday night.

The pair were inside a home on Willow Creek Court when they were struck by gunfire. The man, identified Tuesday as Robert Holcomb, 30, was shot numerous times in the torso and died on the way to the hospital. The woman, who has not yet been identified, was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital. Investigators said they believe the couple were shot from inside a passing red Lincoln Navigator and returned fire, which broke the back window of the SUV.
