Man Shoots, Kills Ex-Girlfriend In East Nashville: Police
According to police, a woman was shot and killed by her ex-boyfriend, who then killed himself in East Nashville.

EAST NASHVILLE, TN — A woman was shot and killed by her ex-boyfriend, who then turned the gun on himself, according to police.
Metro Police were called to Fatherland and 15th around 10:15 p.m. to find the man, Andrew Tucker, 40, dead. The woman, Amy Williams, 41, was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she died. Detectives believe Tucker drove by while Williams was on the sidewalk talking with her sister. believe Williams was standing on the sidewalk talking to her sister as she was preparing to leave when Tucker drove by. Tucker then turned his truck around and parked. Williams then walked over and spoke to Tucker for about five minutes, according to police, before he shot her.

Witnesses told police the pair did not raise their voices before the shooting. Tucker then went back to his truck and shot himself in the head.
Detectives said the pair had dated for four months prior to ending the relationship last week.
