Metro Officer Crashes Car In Madison
A Metro officer had minor injuries after crashing his patrol car into a tree on Neely's Bend Road Monday morning.
MADISON, TN — A Metro Police officer was injured after crashing his patrol car into a tree on Neely's Bend Monday.
The officer's car hit a tree at the intersection of Larkin Springs Toad and Neely's Bend Road aroudn 2:45 Monday morning. There was fairly significant fog in the area at the time, but it's not clear how much of a factor it was. The officer was injured and taken to the hospital, but officials said he is likely to be released later Monday, as the injuries were not too serious.
