Prolific Donelson Thief Is Only 9
A 9-year-old is accused in several robberies in a Donelson neighborhood, stealing everything from Cheetos to laptops.

DONELSON, TN — A precocious cat burglar with a penchant for junk food and electronics is suspected in a spree of robberies in Donelson.
The shocker is that the sticky-fingered swiper is but 9-years-old.

Neighbors told News Channel 5 the tiny bandit is suspected in at least five burglaries in the same neighborhood and has stolen computers, cash and toys, but also candy and Cheetohs.
One woman told the station he even took a single check from her checkbook.

"What kid knows to steal one check out of a checkbook hoping no one would notice," she said.
This woman caught the thief one time, when he returned to her home to steal the power cord for the laptop he'd already lifted.
Metro Police confirmed they were investigating burglaries in the neighborhood, but would not comment given the suspect's age.
Some area residents told the TV station they suspect the youngster is being coached.
