Surveillance Captures Hermitage Stick-Up Man

A hoodie-wearing thief held up a Hermitage convenience store early Sunday.

HERMITAGE, TN — Detectives are searching for the man who robbed a Hermitage convenience store at gunpoint early Sunday morning.

Around 1:10 a.m., the suspect entered the Tigermarket at 4601 Lebanon Pike, pulled out a gun and demanded money from the clerk and then fled. (For more updates on this story and free news alerts for your neighborhood, sign up for your local Middle Tennessee Patch morning newsletter.)

Police say gunman is a black man who appears to be in his late teens. He is approximately 5’10” tall with a very thin build. He wore a dark blue Gap hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans, sunglasses, and a ball cap.
