Here are the top three stories today in Franklin:
- The Franklin board removed a downtown church from the zoning ordinance. 5 Stones Church was voted out of the city's zoning ordinance and zoning map as part of the annual update. After the amendment, the pastor of the church prayed outside the boardroom with supporters. (Williamson Herald)
- "It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play" will be at Jamison Theatre at The Factory at Franklin until Dec. 24. The show begins at 7 p.m., and all attendees are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 or receive a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of entering the venue. Masks are also required during the performance. (Visit Franklin)
- A new Dunkin' Next Gen location will open in Franklin on Wednesday. The store design will improve guest experiences and service speed. It will also feature an innovative tap system and a Dunkin' on Demand area for mobile order pickup. (Williamson Herald)

- Friends of Franklin Parks is holding a BOGO sale on their Harlinsdale Pavers until the end of the year. Each paver is $250 and engraved with up to three lines of 16 characters each. The pavers are located at the entrance of The Tractor Supply Co Arena at Harlinsdale Farm. (Facebook)
- Eric Stuckey, City Administrator, took a look at the top five things from 2021 in Franklin. These things include street namings, an Alderman election, a fire station opening, road extensions, and the unveiling of the USCT statue. (Facebook)
