Happy Wednesday, neighbors! Let's get you all caught up on what's happening locally to start today off on an informed note.

  1. The Apple Truck will be bringing a bite of Michigan to Franklin this Sunday. The truck will be delivering fresh, hand-picked Michigan apples to more than 90 locations in southern states who have no or limited access to the fresh fruit. The Apple Truck will be stopping at Williamson Square in Franklin on Oct. 10 from 8:00-9:30 a.m. (Williamson Source)
  2. Discounted tickets are available until Oct. 11 for this year's Wine Down Main Street event. Voted Best Charity Event in the Williamson's Best Awards, Wine Down Main Street is a unique wine tasting event that takes place along historic Main Street in Franklin and benefits Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee.   3. 39-year-old Dujuan Dunlap has been arrested in connection to a shootout that left one man dead and wounded a bystander in Nashville. (WKRN News 2)
