Body Found In Rural Southern Williamson County Prompts Homicide Investigation

BETHESDA, TN — A pair of people on ATVs Monday four-wheeled into a grisly scene.

The two discovered the body of a woman lying off the side of a trail near the intersection of Choctaw Road and Cross Keys Road outside of the Bethesda community in rural southern Williamson County.

The woman's body was taken to the coroner and Williamson County sheriff's deputies secured the scene before calling in TBI investigators. While the medical examiner has not issued a cause of death, law enforcement on the scene is treating it as a homicide.
