Cash Crimes: Franklin Police Seek Bank Bandit, Kroger Counterfeiters
Franklin Police are working to identify a bank robber and a couple who passed counterfeit bills at Kroger.

FRANKLIN, TN — Franklin detectives have their hands full with two cold hard cash cases.
Along with the FBI, Franklin Police are investigating a Tuesday afternoon bank robbery at the Moss Lane branch of Franklin Synergy Bank. A man entered the bank shortly after 4 p.m. and handed over a demand note. After receiving the money, he fled in a white Toyota Corolla.

In a completely unrelated incident, except that it too involved malefactorous money, two people are accused of passing a counterfeit $100 at the Mallory Lane Kroger.
