Centennial Stuns Franklin With Two Late Scores in 28-24 Win
Two Cougar touchdowns in the final 73 seconds shock the Rebels.

FRANKLIN, TN β For 2,807 seconds Friday night, Franklin essentially dominated Centennial.
The Cougars, though, kept it close enough to pull off a shocker in the final 73 seconds.
Trailing 24-14 with 1:13 left in the game, Cougar quarterback Tre Stewart, making his first start, hit senior wideout Austin Waddell for a 66-yard touchdown. Seconds later, Centennial recovered the ensuing onside kick and with just 10 seconds left, Waddell fought his way into the end zone to cap a furious, bizarre comeback and a final drive that saw Stewart connect with Zyon Lee for a 22-yard gain on 2nd-and-19.
