Here are the top three stories in Franklin today:

  1. The City of Franklin will be naming its first street after a local veteran. The naming ceremony honoring Roy F. Alley will be on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Carlisle Lane and Old Charlotte Pike.   2. The Franklin Police Department is offering a cash reward to whoever can help them identify a Walmart thief. The suspect reportedly stole a Razor scooter and a mini-bike that totaled more than $500. Anyone with information about the suspect caught on surveillance cameras can contact Williamson County Crime Stoppers. (WKRN News 2)
  3. The drive held by The Greater Nashville Chinese Association, API Middle Tennessee, and the Nashville Chinese School raised more the $14,000. The funds will be distributed to Williamson County Schools and Metro Nashville Public Schools. The districts will be awarded the funds during this year's API Heritage Month Arts Festival on Sunday.
