Here are the top three stories today in Franklin:
- Williamson County's services were recognized by the National Association of Counties. The Williamson County Animal Center was specifically mentioned by the organization for its services that provide food assistance, free spay/neuter, and training opportunities. Mayor Anderson commended the staff, task force, and volunteers for their dedication which earned the county the award. (WSMV 4)
- The City of Franklin announces that the rooftop photographer has been identified and cited for trespassing. The 18-year-old Franklin resident is due to appear in court for the citation on June 30. The man was taking photos of a Second Avenue penthouse from a nearby rooftop on May 4. (Press Release Desk)
- The City of Franklin and Crime Stoppers are offering a reward for any information leading to the identification of a thief. The city has provided footage of an individual who stole a wallet from the Franklin Planet Fitness. The suspect used the contents of the wallet to purchase electronics at a Cool Springs Best Buy.
