🌱 Dave Ramsey Sells Franklin Estate + Franklin Zoning Ordinance

Here are the top stories today in Franklin:

  1. Dave Ramsey, the personal finance whiz, has sold his Franklin estate for $10.2 million, which was $5 million less than he had initially hoped for. He placed his residence on the market in February for $15.45 million. A deal closed at 34 percent off Ramsey's asking price in August, according to property records. (Realtor)
  2. The Franklin Board of Mayor and Alderman unanimously voted to amend the Franklin zoning ordinance and zoning map as part of an annual update on Tuesday night after a divisive vote was held to erase a proposed rezoning from the plan. Of the five proposed rezonings in the plan, the rezoning of 236 Second Ave. S., where 5 Stones Church is located was the most controversial. (williamsonherald.com)
  3. Dunkin' will open a new location at 500 Cool Springs Boulevard in Franklin with an expected opening sometime in December. The new location will also offer a drive-thru window. (Williamson Source)
