The First Friday events will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. this evening, including complimentary refreshments and live music. There's also a free trolley that will bring you to each stop! - One of the best parts about living in Franklin is having the First Bank Amphitheater so close by to see all of your favorite performers. But lately, residents have not been happy with the traffic that the nearby venue creates. Last week before the Miranda Lambert concert, concert-goers reported being stuck in traffic for hours. Town administrators reportedly are planning new ways to decrease the traffic, but recommend arriving early in the meantime. (News Channel 5 Nashville)
- The most fun car wash of the year is back in Franklin this weekend. The Franklin Band's Annual Car Wash Extravaganza beings on May 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For $10, customers can have their cars washed while enjoying live music and concessions. All money raised benefits the Franklin Band program. (Williamson Source)
