Armada Nutrition plans to invest $2.1 million to expand operations at plant.

NASHVILLE, TN — Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam announced Monday that Armada Nutrition will expand its operations in Maury County, investing $2.1 million and creating 310 new jobs over the next five years at the company's Spring Hill plant.

Founded last year, Armada Nutrition is a contract manufacturer for nutritional powders. It will take over a 300,000-square-foot plant, previously owned by Capstone Nutrition, at 4637 Port Royal Road in Spring Hill.

“Tennessee has the workforce and business climate that makes companies not only want to locate new operations here, but existing companies want to expand and excel here,” Haslam said in a statement. “We appreciate Armada Nutrition for choosing to increase its operations in our state."
