Franklin Christmas Weekend Weather: Unseasonably Warm With Sporadic Rain Chances

Temperatures will rise throughout Christmas Eve, delivering an unusually warm Christmas in Franklin.

FRANKLIN, TN — A warm Christmas weekend is ahead, according tothe National Weather Service forecast for Franklin. Daytime temperatures will creep into the mid 60s Sunday and Monday, but rain chances threaten on most days.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high of 45. Mostly cloudy after dark, low of 30.

Friday: Mostly cloudy and warmer, with a high of 53. An 80 percent chance of showers, mainly after midnight, low of 48. South winds of 10 to 15 mph gusting as high as 20 mph.

Christmas Eve: A 70 percent chance of showers, otherwise cloudy, high of 54. A 40 percent chance of showers in the evening, otherwise mostly cloudy, a low of 50.

Christmas Day: A 20 percent chance of showers before noon, then partly sunny and unseasonably warm, high of 66. A mostly cloudy evening with a 20 percent chance of showers after midnight, low of 56.

Boxing Day: A 40 percent chance of showers with a high of 66. A 60 percent chance of showers overnight, low of 42.
