Franklin Finds New Assistant City Administrator in Maryville

FRANKLIN, TN — A Maryville transplant will become Franklin's new assistant city administrator after the first of the year.

Kristine Tallent will replace Russ Truell, who will retire Dec. 15 as assistant city administrator and chief financial officer.

Tallent is currently the director of Management and Budget in Maryville. She has also worked as budget director for Gwinnett County, Georgia. She holds a master of science in public policy and management from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor of arts from Maryville College.

“Kristine Tallent will be a great asset to the City of Franklin as we move forward,” City Administrator Eric Stuckey said in the release. “She is not only a skilled professional, but also a respected leader in her profession.”
