Franklin Fugitive Arrested After 6 Weeks On The Lam
A Franklin 18-year-old faces 11 charges after his arrest Wednesday, ending a six-week run from the law.

FRANKLIN, TN -- An 18-year-old faces 11 charges following his arrest Wednesday, ending a six-week run from Franklin Police.
Nicholas Owens was wanted for fleeing a vehicle during a November drug investigation. Franklin Police say Tuesday Owens fled from car wreck, evading officers in the car and on foot.
On Wednesday, investigators were tipped off that Owens was at home on Jeanette Place. When police arrived, Owens allegedly jumped from a window and ran again, but was eventually captured while trying to top a fence on Shadycrest Lane.

Owens is being held on a $29,500 bond and is charged with:
- Evading arrest in a motor vehicle
- Three counts of evading arrest on foot
- Failure to report a crash
- Two counts of leaving the scene of a crash
- Driving without a license
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Failure to appear
- Unlawful possession of a legend drug
